I created a searchable file from a scanner. No problem.

I used a trial version of Nitro PDF Pro to insert pages into the file.

This file is searchable with no problems with the Nitro reader nor with Foxit.

However when I open it with Acrobat 9.3 and search, the search becomes erratic when it comes to the first inserted page, highlighting unconnected words. It appears as though it is finding the word on one page and highlighting the same place on a different page, depending on the number of new pages inserted in between.

Can anyone explain this - or more importantly tell me how to fix it?
