Subject:Excel to Form

I want to make a form that can have checkboxes and comment fields based on some spreadsheets we have in excel. I've been converting from excel to pdf then going to LiveCycle and hoping the fields are auto-recognized but it doesn't seem to work that way. Are there specific fonts and sizes I should be using for checkboxes or comment fields? What is the best way to do this?

Subject:Excel to Form

Excel is not a very good choice for creating forms. I find Word a better choice and using OpenOffice.org is even better since it provides a direct to PDF form along with many of the form fields and the options from combo and drop down boxes carry over.

LiveCycle Designer and Acrobat will attempt to recognize form fields from MS Word but not from Excel.

I have always found the form field recognition does not speed up the form creation process as there remain a lot of editing and scripting edits to be performed.
