| Subject: | Document Scanning when on Remote Desktop Connection |
I have attempted to scan documents utilizing Docucom's query file command with the append mode active from a client machine to a shared C drive folder/file on a Window's 2003 Server with good results. PDF files were created quickly. I am curious whether anyone has had experience performing such a function with a client machine by way of a Remote Desktop Connection through the Internet. If so, what configuration and scanner hardware was utilized. Thank You.

Which PDF Conference were you attending when this question came up?

This is an effort that I am attempting personally. I did not attend a conference about this. I do understand that a product called RemoteSCan will perform this function.

Each forum may have a different set of experts, so by choosing the "PDF Conferences" forum - which is normally only used a few times a year, during conferences, you have limited the chances of getting a reply. You could try the Paper to PDF forum.
