Subject:converting Word documents to PDF

I have always been able to right-click on a file name from a folder (unopened file) and select "Convert to PDF" and it would convert the Word document to a PDF and then open the PDF file.

All of a sudden this quit working and while I can still do the same right-click method to convert Excel files and MS Publisher files to PDF files, it will no longer allow me to convert Word documents to PDF files.

Our IT person removed the software (Acrobat 6.0) and reinstalled it today and it still did not allow the right-click method.

We figured out a work-around in that I can open Acrobat, go to File >> Open and open the Word document that way, and it will convert it to a PDF, but the right-click method was so quick and easy.

Anyone know what might be causing this?
