Subject:Pdf pages printing off center using Acrobat & Reader

Created biz cards for printing on bc stock using Indesign 2.
Cards print fine from ID directly. PDF created looks fine on screen, all centered.
Printing from Acrobat 5, the cards are off center to the right, almost like room left for staple edge. This duplex feature is unchecked, however.

Printing from Acrobat 7, the image is shifted over the other way, with 1/8" too much on the right side.

Why can't I just get it to print directly? I have a toned tan background covering the entire page exactly, so the image and the paper are both 8.5x11"

What am I missing? How do I get a direct print? Also, these sorts of little jobs are for friends, so when they use their Reader program...and whatever printer they have, things may be different for them. But right now, I can't even get it centered correctly.

Thanks...CW

Sometimes this happens, but sometimes messing with page scaling and centering options helps.

I was done messing with all the options I could find, that's why I posted for help. The Acrobat 7 problem, with was off only 1/8" inch on the right side, was actually the paper wiggle. I tightened the paper guide holder and it printed acceptably, and assume a stiffer paper will be more stable through the feeder.

Now to see if my friend can duplicate the printing on his machine... He actually had the image shrink, so assume he had on a "shrink to fit" option somewhere.
