Hi, I've created a reservation form which works brilliantly.
However, I've got 2 boxes in the form which have to be filled in
before the form is closed.
How do I create an alert to prompt users to fill in those 2 form
fields before closing the document.
Thanks!

Users can always close, I should think. (And would you want to stop them, for example, shutting down their computer for a power cut?)
But closing will in any case throw away the contents. So I suspect it isn't actually closing which really matters to you. What is the defining action - submitting, saving, printing? There may be different answers for these.

I would the user to be alerted that there are 2 text fields which
have not been completed.
I need the alert to happen before any action - save, print and
submit.
Not sure what you're saying about powercuts etc!!???
All I want is for the fields to be completed before the document
is closed, printed or whatever.
Thanks

I mean, suppose someone has told you there will be a power cut in 5 minutes and you must shut down your computer. Suppose you stop the form from being closed - then they can't stop Acrobat, so they can't shut down Windows.
But why do you care about closing (rather than saving or printing?)
